5 year old birthday party or a day with Alice in Wonderland?
If you know Meghan from Parker Grace Events, then you know that she is never less than a 10/10 on the creative skill and this party was a 15! Meghan is known for her great style and her events all have a certain look that is original, youthful and classy! She wanted to throw an extra special party for her princess and rainbow loving 5-year-old daughter.
Once upon a rainbow in the garden…
That was our theme for this little girl’s rainbow birthday party! We aimed for whimsy with detail set for a princess. And of course, we wanted flowers that looked almost magical too, so we left out the greenery and used pink, yellow and purple flowers to create a rainbow illusion.
Al fresco rainbow birthday party
This party certainly had that rainbow feel, but it was also garden-inspired, being held in Meghan’s beautiful backyard.
We set the table flower paper plates from Meri Meri, teapots and cotton candy for each guest from The Cotton Candy Girl. Meghan used a tulle runner in soft pink that ran down the table under the flowers and flowed off on each sides for an extra youthful and magical feel.
The pretty pastels continue
She also used Nicole from Lifted Balloons to adorn the party with pastel balloons. Some were running up the sides and tops of the outdoor structure, next to Bruno and next to the all-white bounce house. Speaking of, the white bounce house from Soto Bouncin House was like no other! A white castle, it coordinated perfectly with the flowers and other designs for the day.
Lifted Balloons also made a beautiful fabric garland that we hung from the roof of the outdoor structure. I added hanging flowers to this with colorful butterflies that hung down with the flowers.
And of course, Bubbles and Brews, a mobile bar named Bruno, provided drinks for the adult guests. We added flowers to the bar to soften up the front of it.
